New product line launch at Barbieri's restaurant
Sardines and all of Mardešić's products have always been synonymous with healthy eating, however, with the introduction of new products this has been brought to an even higher level. New products such as: “Lemon-marinated sardines (oil-free)”, “Sardines in vegetable sauce (gluten-free)”, “Sardines with Mediterranean herbs” and “Sardines in organic extra virgin olive oil” are an absolute hit and an example of the perfect blend between the modern and the traditional. The centuries-old tradition of the catching and processing of fish on the island of Dugi Otok guarantees the highest quality of these valued island fish products. Many top-quality food lovers, foodies, journalists, and Zagreb celebrities whom we gathered this February for the launch of our products in Zagreb’s famous Barbieri’s restaurant were convinced of their quality. For this occasion, an innovative fish menu was created and prepared by chef Mario Bobanović, and the guests had the opportunity to try dishes such as sardine pâté with Mediterranean herbs, sardine sashimi served on an avocado cream sauce, pasta carbonara with sardines, sardine quiche, sardine soup and several other dishes that were all prepared with Mardešić’s products. Each of our thrilled guests received a special gift commemorating the start of a wonderful story. We also demonstrated that all the new flavours as well as the old ones that everyone is already familiar with can serve as an excellent main ingredient for preparing a healthy but at the same time creative meal that will win you over with its taste and smell.
